A lovely, mainly road drive at Amroth.

Further details and joining instructions to follow.

The Drive is being organised in memory of Donna’s grandfather who introduced her to driving.  Cecil, who was from Tegryn, was a member of the BDS and attended many drives himself.

There are various routes on offer to accommodate all levels of fitness – from 5 to 8 miles with additional loops if wanted.  The terrain is fairly flat with only a couple of short, gentle hills and the lanes are quiet.

There will be cawl available afterwards compliments of Donna’s mum.

There will be no charge for this drive but donations will be collected for Blood Wales which Donna’s father is part off.

Please pre-book with Donna or Jenny.  There’s plenty of parking although lorries over 7.5 tonnes may be directed to a different area so please let Donna know in advance.

This is a great opportunity to learn some good rein handling skills and to understand when and why we use them.  Simon Kesans will be out host and instructor and he has many years of experience driving everything from a single pony to four in hand.  In addition there will be the chance to look at the carriages used by the Kesans both commercially and privately.  This event is being run jointly by Areas 36 and 38

Blow away those Xmas cobwebs and get ready for 2020.  A choice of routes from 5 to 10 miles.  There will be refreshments half way round at Jenny’s (Brynderi, Llanybri)  There are a few hills both up and down but the views are spectacular.  If you don’t want to drive just come to Jenny’s for a cup of tea and some cake!
